When someone loves what you do enough to want to have your work it’s a sign that you and what you stand for as an artist is appreciated.
Recently a drawing that was exhibited on the RQAS Chiaroscuro Exhibition went to a new home. The Exhibition was held in conjunction with The Black Dog Institute, raising funds and awareness for the work done to aid those in difficulties.
The portrait, with its pensive mood of quiet contemplation, was my interpretation of the Chiaroscuro theme.
Reverie - graphite and charcoal on watercolour paper.
It’s simply the best feeling when someone understands and appreciates your work.
